Choose This Day

"There is a danger in the word someday when what it means is “not this day.” “Someday I will repent.” “Someday I will forgive him.” “Someday I will speak to my friend about the Church.” “Someday I will start to pay tithing.” “Someday I will return to the temple.” “Someday."

--Henry B. Eyring, "This Day", Ensign, May 2007, 89–91

I still remember one of the Chinese Poem that my Primary School teacher taught us and it said...

明日复明日 tomorrow and tomorrow
明日何其多 so many tomorrow
事事待明日 everything wait for tomorrow
万事成蹉跎 all things will be delayed

One of the natural of humans characteristic should be laziness. Truly I am one of them. There are many goals that I set since I returned home from my mission last November. To my dismay, I didn't achieve many of them...

"All of us will need His help to avoid the tragedy of procrastinating what we must do here and now to have eternal life. For most of us the temptation to delay will come from one or both of two feelings. They are polar opposites: one is to be complacent about what we have already done, and the other is to feel overwhelmed by the need to do more. " - Pres Eyring

I just wish and pray that I can walk a mile more everyday in my journey back to my father in heaven to draw closer to him day by day. May all of us help ourselves and those we love so much by acting today...

Commitment to keep today
"Will you set a goal today for what to be improved tomorrow?"

I know he loves us and will help us along this path to "be like him"
