Look to the Light

I suppose to upload this movie with the post yesterday but the file is too big and the connection was bad last night. There are many of us who are struggle in particular part in our life but I just like to share that the lord is mindful of all our adversity, affliction, hardship and loneliness that we felt in this mortal life.

It's glad for us to remember the born of the Son of God who walked in this earth, lived a perfect live, and died for the sins of all of us. I know he is living now with the loving Heavenly Father. God had said:

"My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; And if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes"

D&C 121:7-8

I share these with you my beloved friends in this special season, in the name of Jesus Christ.

For those who mourn in this time

I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He livesmy hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.

He lives to grant merich supply.
He lives to guide me with his eye.
He lives to comfort me when faint.
He lives to hear my soul's complaint.
He lives to silence all my fears.
He lives to wipe away my tears.
He lives to clam my trouble heart.
He lives all blessing to impart.

Am I addicted to Restaurant City in Facebook?!?

I always told my younger brother that loves to play games he is wasting time on nothing.

Recently, I just started to set up an account in Restaurant City... I love the part of the game that you can hire your friends as your co-worke and you're working with them to build up your restaurant.

I think it is truely a dream for many of us that we can work together with a group of friends who share the same values and goals.

When I try to turn on the laptop to keep feeding my friends before they running out of food supply to keep them working, I will end up watching them (for hours) working hard to fulfill my wish to have a BIGGER, more LUXURY restaurant than those who already have a restorant that looks like a mansion.

I start to realised that my time to study the scripture, to ponder and to brush up my English, and many good offline activities has been taken out. I think I truely need some help to put my life focus back in order before the new semester of school in starting in a week time.

Holiday is over soon. I wish I am able to close down my restaurant before the school starts again in 28 Dec. Please give me some advice and pray for me if you can. Take care okay... Merry Christmas!

The Spirit of Christmas

The clip reminds me of the scene of Jesus' visit to Martha's house as describe in Louke 10

"Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

And she had a sister called mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet , and heard his word.

But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

But one things is needful; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

Are you too busy in getting everythings ready for Christmas? Or you're somewhere other side of the world busy spending your bonuses? Have a look at this video clip and I wich all of us can have the same spirit of Christmas...

Merry X'mas

What can I do?

I always ask myself... "What can I do to make a different in this world?"

As most of the political leaders discussing about helping the Earth un slow down the global warming by reducing the total amount of "poluted gas" from each country. I reflected on what can I do to slow down this sign of second coming.

The scripture said...

"And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster then he has strength. And again, it is expedient that he should be diligent, that thereby he might win the price; therefore, all things must be done in order" - Mosiah 4 :27

I love this verse so much... "we" should be diligent, but run with our own strength.

I can bring my own shoping bag for grocery shooping at NTUC Fairprice..

I can eat at the neighbourhood hawker centre in stead of packing the food to eat in my room..

I can open the window before I sleep instead of switch on the air-con..

I know there are many small things that we can do "with diligent", and we will win the price at the end...

This is like some of us always think "How can I totally obey to all the commandments?"

But what Heavenly father request from us just start with our own strength..

If you can read scripture for 15 minutes before you dozed off.. go ahead STARt now...

If you can not switch on the TV / computer on Sunday after church... START now...

If you can fast for 20 hours, START now...

If you forget to pray... Do it now...

I know if we do all things with diligent... We'll win the price at the end...

"The Lord doesn't expecr us to work harder than we are able. He doesn't (nor should we) compare our efforts to those of others. Our Heavenly Father asks only that we do the best we can -- that we work according to our full capacity, however great or small that may be" - Pres. Uchtdorf Nov 2009
