Job 3

v23 Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?

v24 For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.

v25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

v26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

I know I'm not as righteous as Job in the Old Testament, but I do experience some trials recently. My Vice Principal, my reporting officer and me had a work conference yesterday. My VP feedback to me that she is not going to recommend me for my NIE traning as my spoken English is not up to standard. I need to submit my letter of resignation before she votes me out.

I woke up at 3.30 am this morning and start to search for comfort from the scriptures. So I read the Book of Job in Old Testament. I truely hope that I can have such strong courage, faith and trust on my Saviour as the prophet Job has. He said

v15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

v16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

At lease, I still trust God that all experiences that he granted me are for my good. I know he still listens to my prayer and he still guides me through his Holy Scriptures and his prophets. I know we are blessed to have local leaders here to guide us. They are like the three good friends of Job who counsel him when he was mourned and about to curse God.

We are going to have great stake conference in this weekend. May we come with preparation to receive our personal revelation to guide us in our life.

One of the natural of humans characteristic should be laziness. Truly I am one of them. There are many goals that I set since I returned home from my mission last November. To my dismay, I didn't achieve many of them...

I just wish and pray that I can walk a mile more everyday in my journey back to my father in heaven to draw closer to him day by day. May all of us help ourselves and those we love so much by acting today...

Finding and Sharing the Gospel Online

I can't remember when was my last update in this blog. I just need to repent and commit myself again to be diligent in blogging.

After I read the article above in Ensign, I decided to do what I can to share with you something that I felt and thought in my daily life. I don't know who and why you are reading what am I writing now. I hope you can know God better through some of my sharing here.

We went to NTUC FairPrice Near the school to collect some data and all FB2T3 students are very good in finding what they need and to fill in the details of items that Mr. Tan list in the worksheet. I think they enjoy the trip. If you don't think so look at the movie and picture of next post...
